How to get to Domus Volumnio

Italy, Rome, Via Lucio Volumnio, 36 (30 min from the City Center)
Take the subway A Line (red) to Anagnina Drop off at: Arco di Travertino (8 stops)
Then take bus n. 765 (end of line) Drop off at: Erode Attico/Lucio Volumnio (11 stops)

Directions

Coming from out of town, (the "GRA - Grande Raccordo Anulare" is the highway that runs all around the city)
Exit from the GRA highway at the n. 23 exit (Via Appia Nuova): choose the city centre direction (Centro - San Giovanni).
Drive on Via Appia Nuova.
Pass by the Capannelle racecourse (on the right).
Keep on driving on Via Appia Nuova.
Pass under the small railway bridge.
Pass by the roman ruins "Villa dei Quintili" (on the left).
Turn left at the first cross road traffic lights and take Via Appia Pignatelli**.
Turn left at the traffic lights onto Via Erode Attico.
Turn left at the first turning: this is Via Lucio Volumnio.
**Important note: be careful of the GPS because its indications will take you to wrong way after you turn onto via Appia Pignatelli.

TERMINI train station:
Take the subway A Line (red) to Anagnina

Then take bus n. 765 (end of line)
Drop off at: Erode Attico/Lucio Volumnio (11 stops)

TIBURTINA train station:
Take bus n. 409
Drop off at: Arco di Travertino (19 stops)
The take bus n. 765 (end of line)
Drop off at: Erode Attico/Lucio Volumnio (11 stops)

Public Transport to get down town

City Centre
a) By bus: Bus n. 118 - Via Appia Pignatelli Stop (walking distance)
Turn right at the end of Via Lucio Volumnio – turn left at the traffic lights. The bus stop to get down town is across the road.
Bus n. 118 reaches the archeological area "Terme di Caracalla", passing through Via Appia Antica.
b) By subway: Line A (red) – Arco di Travertino Stop (by bus)
Turn right at the end of Via Lucio Volumnio. The bus stop (n. 765) is right there. Drop off at Arco di Travertino and take the Subway Line A (Battistini direction).

EUR (east side)
By bus: Bus n. 765 - Via Erode Attico Stop
Get to the end of Via Lucio Volumnio and across the road (carefully!). The bus stop is right there.
The Bus reaches Subway Line B (blue) and continues to the EUR area.
